A big update of the beer atlas!

event illustration

We’ve launched an updated Beer Altas, and we can’t wait to introduce you to its new products!

Two varieties from the oldest brewery in Upper Bavaria appeared on faucets: mild and refreshing Schnitzlbaumer Hell and wheaten Schnitzlbaumer Weisse.

Also returning is the famous Timmermans cherry lambic. Kriek Lambicus. Timmermans branded lambics have preserved the tradition of producing this magnificent drink for 300 years and are the world’s oldest fruity Belgian beer.

Blanche de Namur — white wheat beer of the highest quality. This beer surprises with its roundness and delicacy, delicate acidity and almost complete absence of bitterness. His fragrance — refined, with spicy notes of coriander and curacao orange. «Blanche de Namur» — know-how of the Du Bocq brewery, it won the title of best Wietbier in 2009, 2013 and 2014 according to the WBA.

Filou / Filou (Filou) — this fresh addition to Van Hoonsburk’s already known line was released in 2014 . Using Belgian and Czech aroma hops, Filou offers soft fruitiness and light hop bitterness.

There are also quite a few updates on bottle positions:

  • — Reutberger Heller Bock — a powerful amber lager with a solid malt base;
  • — a line of hels and weizens from the family brewery Riegele from Augsburg. In total, the Augsburg brewery produces 22 varieties of beer on a permanent basis, among which there are representatives of the «new wave» German brewing and classic varieties. Attention to the brewery is not related «to «quality» its traditional varieties (almost any German brewery is unlikely to disappoint with this), and with the niche that Riegele occupies in brewing in Germany. The brewery with the golden horse logo has long chosen its own special path in brewing, becoming an example of successful innovation in a part of Germany where too much is determined by tradition;
  • — pilsner and non-alcoholic beer from Austrian Eggenberg. It is located in Forchdorf, in the Austrian Alps, on the banks of the Alm River, which is the source of water used in production. Today, it is one of the leading breweries in Europe;
  • — French ciders from Normandy brand Sassy: Rose and Bio. «Sassy» Bio — organic Normandy cider made from five varieties of apples grown near the Château de Sassi. This fine and well-balanced semi-dry cider — a true fruity hit with terroir notes on the palat
  • — non-alcoholic ales: walnut porter and hopped ale from the brewery from Saint Petersburg Zero Point. So far, the only brewery in Russia that brews only non-alcoholic varieties! Anchor # 3 — it’s a raspberry ale — limited series from private Crimean brewery Anchor;
  • — a line of four classic varieties from Dreamteam Brew, located in Moscow.

We look forward to all Lambic restaurants for new Beer Atlas!

Summer is still evident in the juicy fruits, but the coolness and comfort of autumn are already noticeable. It is precisely this transition—from lightness to richness—that is the focus of brand chef Vasily Ratner’s autumn update at Brasserie Lambic. For example, watermelon reaches its ideal flavor at the beginning of autumn, which is why Lambic offers it in a salad with chana cheese and yuzu sauce (600 rubles). Or okra pods — a rare guest in Moscow restaurants, an African plant that is also grown in southern Russia. Here it appears in two versions: in tomato and soy sauce with sesame seeds (890 rubles) and crispy — okra frito (850 rubles). There is also a new sweet dish, «Rum Baba» (990 rubles), a dessert made according to an old French recipe. Inside, there is a berry filling, light cream, and a generous portion of rum for soaking.   Among the new products are also: — Cherry tomatoes with mozzarella panna cotta (1,100 rubles); — Cream of broccoli soup with chorizo (750 rubles); — Waldorf salad with smoked chicken (990 rubles); — Baked eggplant with spicy minced lamb and pomegranate (990 rubles); — Watermelon canapés in anise vodka (400 rubles); — Baked Camembert with plums and grapes (1600 rubles); — Assorted mushrooms with potatoes (1,250 rubles); — Onion cookies with cheese mousse (650 rubles); — Chicken confit with celery root (1,250 rubles).   The updated menu is available at Lambic on Bolshaya Ordynka!
